Resumo: Increasingly, the importance of preserving the environment has become a
focus on the world stage. Companies have been increasingly concerned about
producing their goods and / or services without harming the environment but making
a profit, this is a requirement of the community as a whole, since the world's
population has increasingly become aware of the importance the environment.
Therefore, this work, developed from a methodology that includes bibliographical,
qualitative and exploratory research, aims to discuss the importance of sustainable
development for the business sector, the benefits and harms that companies that opt
or not for adherence to the sustainable development.

Resumo: This study aims to relate the stress and occupational diseases caused by the
type of work performed by nursing professionals. The factors that generate the
stress and investigated its reflexes in the life of these professionals are
analyzed, this study still presents some possible solutions to ameliorate such
situations of stress. In this way, a study with the integrative review method was
carried out, carrying out researches between December 2017 and June 2018, in
three databases, establishing inclusion and exclusion criteria, being selected 44
studies. The results indicated numerous factors as responsible for the stress of
the professionals, influencing the occurrence of accidents and health problems.
To mitigate such workloads, studies point to some strategies, such as
continuing education and better working conditions. It is concluded that the
triggering of stress causes innumerable damages to the health, affecting to
some extent all that are to the surroundings, but with the identification of the
stressing agents it is possible the implementation of organizational actions,
prevention of accidents and diseases related to work.
