    <title>Conectando com a natureza: estratégias de paisagismo para promover o bem-estar em ambientes de saúde</title>
    <link>http://repositorio.unirn.edu.br/jspui/handle/123456789/1116</link>
    <description>Título: Conectando com a natureza: estratégias de paisagismo para promover o bem-estar em ambientes de saúde
Resumo: It is understood that the lack of natural elements in healthcare environments can &#xD;
contribute to increased stress, anxiety, and physical and psychological discomfort for &#xD;
both patients and professionals working in these spaces. The presence of vegetation, &#xD;
natural light, and elements that evoke nature is directly linked to improved quality of &#xD;
life, accelerated recovery processes, and reduced hospital costs. Therefore, the &#xD;
objective of this work was to develop a guide for architects and managers of healthcare &#xD;
institutions, encompassing landscaping strategies that can be applied in healthcare &#xD;
environments, focusing on patient well-being. Thus, an analysis was conducted on the &#xD;
existing literature regarding the impact of landscaping on the well-being of patients in &#xD;
healthcare environments, identifying the standards and guidelines for the incorporation &#xD;
of landscaping in healthcare settings, identifying the landscaping species likely to &#xD;
survive in healthcare environments with low lighting and natural ventilation, studying &#xD;
existing cases where landscaping was used in healthcare settings; experimenting with &#xD;
landscaping strategies identified in the reference studies and literature at the &#xD;
Gastroprocto Hospital and, finally, the creation of the aforementioned booklet. The &#xD;
results showed that the guide includes a careful selection of plant species from the &#xD;
Atlantic Forest biome suitable for indoor environments, with low maintenance &#xD;
requirements, resistance to low light conditions and limited ventilation, while also &#xD;
considering size, toxicity, and allergic potential. Furthermore, it takes into account the &#xD;
sensory aspects of landscaping, understanding the importance of stimulating not only &#xD;
sight but also smell, touch, and hearing whenever it is applicable, promoting a complete &#xD;
and positive ambient experience. It is noted that the connection of natural elements to &#xD;
health environments contributes to the reduction of spatial monotony and the &#xD;
construction of more affectionate, welcoming, and healthy spaces, with the capacity to &#xD;
transform individuals' relationship with the hospital space, promoting comfort, warmth, &#xD;
and, above all, quality of life.

    <description>Título: Arquitetura comercial estudo preliminar arquitetônico de reforma para edifício vertical em Pereiro-CE
Resumo: This research discusses the preliminary study of an architectural project, specifically focusing on the renovation and vertical expansion of a commercial building in Pereiro, Ceará. The objective is to improve the building's functionality, zoning, and aesthetics by exploring solutions through layout and visual merchandising. The building is located on Santos Dumont Street with a total area of 135m² and will transition from mixed-use to exclusively commercial, thereby expanding the current retail space. The methodology used is qualitative, quantitative, and exploratory, conducted through semi-structured questionnaires as part of an on-site study, including an analysis of the current situation with measurements and photographic records. This study aims to integrate flexible architecture with concepts of visual merchandising and impactful aesthetics as solutions to transform not only the physical but also the functional state of the building. The review discusses the architectural approach to the reconstruction of small commercial buildings, emphasizing the realignment and updating of the space—not only in functional and aesthetic terms. The importance of flexibility in architecture is highlighted, without compromising the need for adaptability or configurability in space organization modalities, which should not require extensive remodeling. Visual merchandising is presented as an artistic practice of display that creates striking product presentation environments, influencing consumer behavior patterns at the point of sale. The document underscores the need for legal and technical standards in renovation, ensuring accessibility and safety. The design proposal includes improving product zoning through a new store layout and signage indicating the direction of each segment, aiming to attract customers to make purchases. Additionally, it seeks to enhance circulation flow and use skylights as a strategy for natural lighting.

    <title>(Re)definindo espaços livres: A promoção da interatividade comunitária a partir de um projeto de parque urbano, em Nova Parnamirim/RN</title>
    <link>http://repositorio.unirn.edu.br/jspui/handle/123456789/972</link>
    <description>Título: (Re)definindo espaços livres: A promoção da interatividade comunitária a partir de um projeto de parque urbano, em Nova Parnamirim/RN
Resumo: The study area, located in Nova Parnamirim, highlights a recurring urban problem in regions of metropolitan expansion: the lack of public leisure spaces. The pressure exerted by real estate dynamics intensifies the underutilization of empty land, which lacks a social and environmental function. This process results in a poorly qualified urban landscape, marked by environmental degradation, with the suppression of green areas and soil sealing, compromising local ecological sustainability. In this context, there is a need for interventions that integrate urban planning practices aimed at environmental requalification and the creation of areas for public use, in order to promote urban vitality and community well-being. The aim of this work is to present an architectural project, at the preliminary study level, for the creation of an urban park on a plot of approximately 24,000 m² in the city of Parnamirim, in the state of Rio Grande do Norte. The study considers social, environmental, urban and legal aspects in order to stimulate community coexistence and the revitalization of the surrounding area through the project. The research included a detailed physical-environmental diagnosis, based on a theoretical review of the importance of open spaces in the quality of urban life, based on various authors. Infrastructure shortcomings were identified, as well as the need for accessible green areas aligned with the community space. Case studies of consolidated parks and squares provided design references for the intervention, such as the Capim Macio Ecological Park in Natal, the state capital and a city of great influence on the Nova Parnamirim neighborhood, where the study site is located. Questionnaires were also carried out with the surrounding population, contributing to the development of the design proposal. The intervention proposes a public space that prioritizes human and landscape integration, safety and accessibility, meeting local demands. The design seeks to enhance the existing vegetation and offer a diversified program of activities that contributes to the well-being of residents and strengthens the site's urban identity.

    <title>Estudo preliminar para edifício empresarial: integrando necessidades empresariais ao design biofílico</title>

    <description>Título: Estudo preliminar para edifício empresarial: integrando necessidades empresariais ao design biofílico
Resumo: This Final Graduation Project presents the development of a preliminary study&#xD;
for an office building named Empresarial 101, located along the BR-101 highway in&#xD;
Natal/RN. The project is grounded in the integration of biophilic design elements,&#xD;
aiming to create healthier, more productive, and sustainable corporate environments&#xD;
aligned with contemporary well-being demands for users. The architectural proposal&#xD;
emphasizes the human-nature connection through the inclusion of vegetation on&#xD;
balconies equipped with automated irrigation systems using rainwater harvested and&#xD;
stored on the building's rooftop. Among the selected plant species are rosemary and&#xD;
mint, which promote aromatherapy and reinforce biophilia. Additionally, the building&#xD;
features vertical wooden-patterned brise-soleils on its west-facing façade to reduce&#xD;
solar incidence, enhancing thermal comfort and energy efficiency. The building is&#xD;
organized into five floors, comprising flexible commercial offices, coworking spaces,&#xD;
decompression areas, and administrative infrastructure. The proposed solutions aim&#xD;
to meet the growing business demand in the region by utilizing strategies that blend&#xD;
sustainability, functionality, and comfort in an innovative and urban-appropriate&#xD;
enterprise. This project seeks to demonstrate that the application of biophilic&#xD;
principles in corporate designs not only adds aesthetic and functional value but also&#xD;
creates a work environment that promotes the health and well-being of its users,&#xD;
contributing to the revitalization and growth of the immediate area in Natal/RN.
