      <description>Título: Novidades na terapia nutricional da fibromialgia: uma revisão de literatura
Resumo: The importance of nutritional therapy in patients with fibromyalgia (FM) has proved over the&#xD;
years as a positive proposal on symptomology of patients with this disease. Some studies&#xD;
have shown that good nutrition is essential for these individuals to ease the pains impaired&#xD;
in patients with FM. The study is a review of literature that shows results obtained from&#xD;
literature searches and data base electronics like PubMed, Science Direct and SciELO. We&#xD;
used articles from national and international studies of the last eight years, in order to&#xD;
explain a better quality of life in individuals with FM. Reporting on the adequate intake of&#xD;
nutrients sources of coenzyme Q10, tryptophan, omega 3 and the restriction of gluten for&#xD;
better functionality and decrease the symptoms characteristic of the disease. We conclude&#xD;
that the introduction of these nutrients in patients with FM unsuccessful successful&#xD;
treatments along with reducing inflammation, chronic fatigue, excessive fatigue, improving&#xD;
stress levels and mood. Given the results presented nutrients in encouraging the adequate&#xD;
intake of it to a good quality of life.

      <title>Perfil nutricional de crianças vegetarianas e carnistas em idade pré - escolar</title>
      <link>http://repositorio.unirn.edu.br/jspui/handle/123456789/1230</link>
      <description>Título: Perfil nutricional de crianças vegetarianas e carnistas em idade pré - escolar
Resumo: Vegetarian diets when appropriate meet the recommendations for the age of the child.&#xD;
It has been more likely that the dietary pattern of vegetarian children will be more&#xD;
satisfactory in meeting nutritional needs when compared to that of a carnivorous child.&#xD;
This study aimed to show the differences in dietary intake of carnivorous and&#xD;
vegetarian children, taking into account the importance of food education at an early&#xD;
age and future problems caused by poor diet. The study is a descriptive exploratory&#xD;
and comparative research and cross-sectional design. For its execution, 20 pre-school&#xD;
children participated in the study from which they answered a modified validated&#xD;
questionnaire regarditng food consumption. The questionnaire was administered by a&#xD;
Google Drive® computer tool and shared on a social network, Facebook®. According&#xD;
to the results obtained, the dietary differences of both groups were not significant,&#xD;
presenting the two good eating habits healthy for the age.

      <link>http://repositorio.unirn.edu.br/jspui/handle/123456789/1651</link>
      <description>Título: A importância da presença de ácidos graxos poliinsaturados na infância: uma revisão.
Resumo: Nutrition care during childhood is critical because inadequate nutrition can &#xD;
increase the risks to children's health. Some studies have shown a positive &#xD;
association between fatty acid intake and cognitive growth and development in &#xD;
children. The study is a review of the literature that discusses results achieved from &#xD;
bibliographic research in electronic databases such as Pubmed, Scientific Electronic &#xD;
Library Online (SciELO), Google Scholar and BVS Bireme. Articles were used &#xD;
between 2010 and 2018 with national and international studies. For the choice of the &#xD;
articles it was defined the existence of data records related to polyunsaturated fatty &#xD;
acids and recommendations, gestation, lactation, infants, development and &#xD;
childhood. After initial search the exclusion criteria to reach the final articles were &#xD;
referring to articles that made recommendations for other age groups. It is concluded &#xD;
that the incentive to the consumption of this nutrient is important during the &#xD;
gestational period, breastfeeding and childhood through the ingestion of dietary &#xD;
sources and / or supplementation in order to be successful with this nutrient.

      <title>Compostos bioativos na alimentação: uma revisão</title>
      <link>http://repositorio.unirn.edu.br/jspui/handle/123456789/1649</link>
      <description>Título: Compostos bioativos na alimentação: uma revisão
Resumo: This work is a review of the literature on the main concepts of functional nutrition, with &#xD;
emphasis on monounsaturated fatty acids, highlighting avocado as one of its main sources. &#xD;
Monounsaturated fatty acids are fat molecules that contain a double bond, oleic acid being the &#xD;
most common of monounsaturated fatty acids. Studies have concluded that diets rich in &#xD;
monounsaturated fat lower serum triglycerides (TAG), total cholesterol and low-density &#xD;
lipoprotein (LDL-cholesterol). Therefore, studies on the nutritional composition of avocado &#xD;
have shown that it is an energetic fruit with high nutritional value, recognized for its health benefits, especially due to the compounds present in the lipid fraction, such as omega fatty acids, phytosterols, tocopherols and squalene, leading to the conclusion that regular consumption of avocado pulp contributes to a hypocholesterolemic effect, reducing LDL, VLDL and increasing HDL, mainly coupled with a quality diet.
