Título: Conhecimento da enfermagem sobre cuidados paliativos: uma revisão de escopo
Resumo: Objective: Map and synthesize the evidence available in the scientific literature about the nursing team's knowledge about palliative care in care practice.
Methods: Scope review conducted according to the Joanna Briggs Institute method and registered on the open science platform. The search was carried out in three databases with broad health coverage, from March to April 2026, using controlled descriptors combined with Boolean operators. Two independent reviewers selected the studies through a reference management program and the analysis was descriptive.
Results: Nine scientific articles were included. A pattern of insufficient to moderate knowledge among professionals was evident, predominantly focused on the management of physical pain and symptom control, with the persistence of pharmacological myths about opioids. Low self-competence was identified in the psychosocial and spiritual dimensions, in addition to communicative difficulties in the face of terminal illness, cultural taboos, paternalistic attitudes and high psychological exhaustion characterized by professional mourning.
Conclusion: Nursing knowledge about palliative care appears to be technically consistent in the biological sphere, but scientifically fragmented. It is essential to strengthen evidence-based continuing education and structure institutional psychological support for workers.

Título: A aplicação do processo de enfermagem no pré-natal de adolescentes: contribuições para a qualificação da prática assistencial
Resumo: Objective: To analyze scientific evidence regarding the contribution of the Nursing Process to improving the quality of prenatal care for adolescents, with a comprehensive, humanized, and equitable approach.
Methods: An integrative review was conducted in the SciELO, BDENF, and LILACS databases, using the search terms “Pregnancy in Adolescence”, “Prenatal care”, “Nursing” and “Nursing process”. Studies published between 2021 and 2026, available in full, in Portuguese, Spanish, and English, were included. Abstracts, editorials, letters to the editor, news articles, undergraduate theses, and studies that did not address the proposed topic were excluded. The selection of studies occurred in stages, and the data were analyzed descriptively, subsequently grouped into analytical categories.
Results: A total of 20 articles comprised the sample for this review, and the categories addressed were: I) The Nursing Process in identifying the biopsychosocial vulnerabilities of pregnant adolescents; II) The Nursing Process as a tool for building humanized care in adolescent prenatal care; and III) Health education and strengthening adolescent autonomy in the context of the Nursing Process. It was observed that nursing care contributes to the promotion of maternal and child health, the strengthening of the professional-patient bond, and improved adherence to prenatal care. However, weaknesses were identified regarding the systematization of care, the late initiation of prenatal care, low adherence of adolescents to health services, and the need for professional training.

Conclusion: It is concluded that strengthening humanized and systematized nursing practices is essential to ensure more welcoming, effective, and equitable care for pregnant adolescents.

Título: Delirium em unidade de terapia intensiva: contribuições da enfermagem à luz da teoria do cuidado transpessoal
Resumo: Objective: Analyze the nursing strategies used in the prevention and management of delirium in patients hospitalized in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), in the light of Jean Watson's Transpersonal Care Theory.
Methods: This is an integrative literature review, with a qualitative approach and a descriptive character. The search was carried out in the databases Virtual Health Library (VHL) and Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO), using descriptors related to delirium, intensive care units, nursing theory and nursing. Articles published between 2021 and 2026 were included, available in full, in Portuguese, English and Spanish. After applying the eligibility and selection criteria according to PRISMA's recommendations, the final sample consisted of 18 studies.
Results: Studies have shown that delirium is a frequent multifactorial condition in critically ill patients, associated with clinical, environmental and psychosocial factors. The role of nursing in early identification, continuous monitoring and implementation of non-pharmacological interventions, such as cognitive reorientation, therapeutic communication, sleep promotion, environmental adequacy, early mobilization and family participation, was highlighted. In addition to contributing to the reduction of the incidence and duration of delirium, these strategies favored the humanization of assistance, emotional comfort, the preservation of dignity and the strengthening of the therapeutic bond. It was also observed that such practices present approximations with the principles of Transpersonal Care by valuing the integrality, subjectivity and human dimensions of care.
Conclusion: Nursing strategies for the prevention and management of delirium in ICU transcend the traditional biomedical model, incorporating interventions that include clinical, emotional, relational and environmental aspects. In the light of the Theory of Transpersonal Care, it is evident that nursing plays a fundamental role in the promotion of integral, humanized and person-centered care, contributing to better clinical outcomes and to the qualification of critical patient care.

Título: Perfil epidemiológico da mortalidade de crianças no brasil: uma análise no período de 2022 a 2024
Resumo: Objective: To analyze the epidemiological profile of mortality among children aged 0 to 9 years in Brazilian regions, in the period between 2022 and 2024.
Methods: This is an exploratory and descriptive epidemiological study with a quantitative approach, conducted using secondary data obtained from the Mortality Information System (SIM/DATASUS). Deaths of children aged 0 to 9 years in Brazil between 2022 and 2024 were analyzed. The variables investigated included sex, race/color, age group, causes of death according to ICD-10, and distribution by Brazilian regions. Infant mortality rates were also calculated for different age groups and regions of the country. The data were organized and analyzed using descriptive statistics.
Results: A predominance of deaths was observed in males and in the mixed-race population. The highest mortality rates occurred in children under one year of age, mainly due to conditions originating in the perinatal period and congenital malformations. In the age groups of 1 to 4 years and 5 to 9 years, external causes of morbidity and mortality stood out. The North, Central-West, and Northeast regions presented the highest infant mortality rates, while the South and Southeast regions registered the lowest rates.
Conclusion: Infant mortality in Brazil remains associated with regional, social, and structural inequalities, highlighting the need to strengthen Primary Health Care, child health surveillance, and public policies aimed at reducing preventable deaths and improving the quality of care for children.
