    <title>Anteprojeto urbano: requalificação de uma praça na cidade de Pedro Velho/RN</title>
    <link>http://repositorio.unirn.edu.br/jspui/handle/123456789/1475</link>
    <description>Título: Anteprojeto urbano: requalificação de uma praça na cidade de Pedro Velho/RN
Resumo: Maintaining public open spaces is fundamental to quality of life and sociability in &#xD;
cities. When insufficient, it compromises aesthetics, functionality, safety, and the &#xD;
sense of belonging among residents. This study analyzes the José Agripino Housing &#xD;
Complex Square and the pedestrian walkway on Rua da Linha, in Pedro Velho/RN, &#xD;
seeking to understand how the lack of maintenance affects the use, safety, and social &#xD;
interactions in these environments. It starts from the premise that well-maintained &#xD;
spaces encourage social interaction, while degradation discourages people from &#xD;
staying and reinforces the feeling of abandonment. The overall objective is to &#xD;
develop a preliminary requalification project for the José Agripino Housing Complex &#xD;
Square, promoting improvements that encourage use, increase safety, and promote &#xD;
the well-being of residents. To this end, the main problems resulting from the lack of &#xD;
maintenance were identified; the impact of degradation on user frequency and use &#xD;
was investigated; the perception of insecurity associated with deterioration was &#xD;
analyzed; and the social implications of the absence of leisure and social interaction &#xD;
facilities were studied. and proposed urban planning solutions that favor the use of &#xD;
public spaces. The qualitative methodology included on-site analyses, application of &#xD;
questionnaires with residents and public representatives, and bibliographic research. &#xD;
The results showed that the absence of continuous maintenance causes physical &#xD;
deterioration, reduces the frequency of users, and impairs the functionality of the &#xD;
spaces. It was found that simple and regular maintenance actions can reverse this &#xD;
situation, making the environments more welcoming and functional. The preliminary &#xD;
project developed achieved the proposed objective, configuring itself as an urban &#xD;
requalification strategy with the potential to promote social integration and security. &#xD;
However, it was not possible to delve into the social impacts of the lack of leisure and &#xD;
conviviality areas due to data limitations, which opens opportunities for future &#xD;
research.

    <title>Arquitetura para o nascer: anteprojeto arquitetônico para um centro de parto normal humanizado Peri-hospitalar no município de Natal-RN</title>

    <description>Título: Arquitetura para o nascer: anteprojeto arquitetônico para um centro de parto normal humanizado Peri-hospitalar no município de Natal-RN
Resumo: This Final Graduation Project aims to develop the preliminary design of a Humanized Peri-Hospital Normal Birth Center in the city of Natal, Rio Grande do Norte. The proposal responds to the lack of public facilities dedicated to low-risk obstetric care and to the need for practices aligned with childbirth humanization guidelines. The study presents a historical overview of childbirth assistance in Brazil, marked by the medicalization of birth and high cesarean rates, contrasting with recommendations from the World Health Organization and national policies that encourage normal birth and female protagonism. The research adopts an exploratory and qualitative approach, based on literature review, legislation, technical guidelines, statistical data, and official documents from the Ministry of Health and ANVISA, with emphasis on RDC No. 50/2002, RDC No. 920/2024, and the Rede Cegonha program.&#xD;
The analysis of urban, legal, environmental, and topographic aspects of the site guided the development of the design proposal, structured around the idea of architecture as an extension of care. The architectural concept prioritizes welcoming spaces, privacy, and autonomy in the PPP room, organizing efficient flows and incorporating strategies related to ambience, biophilia, and environmental comfort. The program of requirements follows current regulations and includes, in addition to essential care areas, a gallery of maternal and child services that strengthens the building’s connection with the community. The project contributes to the improvement of humanized childbirth care in Natal-RN by offering a safe, functional, and sensitive environment that meets the needs of women and newborns.

    <title>Mosaico verde-azul: masterplan de soluções baseadas na natureza para resiliência urbana no Bairro do Tirol, Natal/RN</title>

    <description>Título: Mosaico verde-azul: masterplan de soluções baseadas na natureza para resiliência urbana no Bairro do Tirol, Natal/RN
Resumo: Contemporary cities have emerged from landscapes once dominated by greenery. The retreat of nature in the face of expanding urban gray, a result of centuries of human intervention, has created a scenario of urban vulnerability and signals the urgent need for adaptive measures. This study examines Nature-based Solutions (NbS) as strategies to mitigate the impacts of climate change, focusing on the core issue: the insufficiency of traditional drainage infrastructure to address hydrological events affecting the urban fabric of the study area—Tirol, Natal/RN—alongside the reduction of green spaces, which also exacerbates thermal discomfort. The research presents the development of a masterplan and prototypes for green areas utilizing NbS, grounded in bibliographic, documentary, and scientific research, spatial and typological analysis of green spaces, and graphic material production. Conceptual references on NbS, georeferenced data, local urban regulations, photographic surveys, mapping of flood points, and identification of potential sites for prototype implementation were analyzed, following functional, urban, and environmental criteria aligned with the study’s objectives. The study therefore seeks to initiate a more effective dynamic among gray, green, and blue infrastructures, paving the way for a balanced approach to urban heat regulation and stormwater management, and clearly demonstrating that resilient cities require the integration of these interconnected systems.&#xD;

    <title>Implantação de leitos de saúde mental em hospital pediátrico: anteprojeto de reforma do Maria Alice Fernandes em Natal-RN.</title>
    <link>http://repositorio.unirn.edu.br/jspui/handle/123456789/1391</link>
    <description>Título: Implantação de leitos de saúde mental em hospital pediátrico: anteprojeto de reforma do Maria Alice Fernandes em Natal-RN.
Resumo: This Final Course Paper (TCC) consists of a preliminary project for the reform and adaptation of a hospital aimed at implementing and enabling mental health beds at the Maria Alice Fernandes Pediatric Hospital, located in Natal/RN, as well as developing design guidelines that can inform future hospital renovations.&#xD;
&#xD;
The proposal is based on the guidelines established by Ordinances No. 3,088/2011 and Consolidation Ordinance No. 3/2017 of the Ministry of Health (Annex V – RAPS), which recommend the implementation of mental health beds in general hospitals, pediatric hospitals, and maternity facilities for short-term hospitalization. These beds are to be integrated as a point of attention within the hospital component of the Psychosocial Care Network (RAPS). This initiative seeks to comply with the precepts of the Psychiatric Reform Law No. 10,216/2001, which guarantees the rights of individuals with mental disorders and redirects the Brazilian care model through the progressive deinstitutionalization of psychiatric hospitals.&#xD;
&#xD;
The paper initially presents introductory information on the researched topic, contextualizing the importance of hospital humanization in children's mental health care. Following this, a case study of the Maria Alice Fernandes Pediatric Hospital is described, considering its physical, environmental, and legal constraints, in addition to an analysis of the urban surroundings. Based on this survey, a program of necessities was developed to guide the proposal for adapting the existing infrastructure, respecting current norms and guidelines, with the objective of providing a hospital environment that is more welcoming, safe, and compatible with the demands of child and adolescent psychosocial care.
